Shaping the brand’s voice and messaging through segment development, editorial copy, audience-engagement content and ad scripts
Objective: To develop and manage a clear brand voice for the Big Fat Positive podcast to instill loyalty with listeners, grow audience and attract advertisers.
Challenge: As an independent podcast in a crowded space, standing out would require strategic positioning. I needed to identify our unique value proposition and communicate it across platforms.
My Approach: I led brainstorms with my team to nail down our value proposition and built a content system spanning social, email and podcast platforms to reinforce it consistently.
Outcome & Impact: Big Fat Positive has developed and maintained an engaged audience, achieving 7 million plays, $125K in ad revenue, 10K followers across social platforms, 4.7 stars on Apple Podcasts with 470+ reviews, and 4.8 stars on Spotify with 210+ reviews.
